Housekeeper

Objective:
Perform duties to provide general cleaning to common eating areas, rest rooms and offices.

Responsibilities:
Work from written and verbal instructions
Keep eating areas free of trash and litter; remove trash and litter from offices
Sweep, mop, polish floor; schedule stripping and waxing of floors as required
Utilize cleaning agents and mix solutions; exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies; order replenishments as required
Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintian work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
